Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
